JewelI am totally blown away with this web site! I am 27 years old and it's taken me that long to find other people who can actually relate to my specific issues with growing up mixed and passing for a white girl!
I am fair-skinned with reddish brown extrememly curly hair (just think of Black Spice Girl to picture my hair) & blue/gray eyes! Well, my mother is a very pale skinned white women whose parents are British & Irish and my father is a very dark skinned Black man with Nigerian, African American & Native American parents. I was raised in the Black community and constantly being questioned "What are you". If there is one question in this world I can not stand I think that's it. It makes you feel like you're an alien or something!
