Non-fiction:

Am I God's Will?, Taniyah Eyer, Spencer & Curtis Publishers, 1996. True story of a biracial girl who was asked a question at school which changed her life: What's it like to be biracial? After months of questioning, thinking, and speaking with many people, she wondered: Am I God's will after all? An inspiring story as to how biracial youth can understand themselves, present their situation with confidence, and most of all, know that God loves him or her as much as anyone else. This book was written by an 11-year old girl and is EXCELLENT! EJH

Coping as a Biracial/Biethnic Teen, Renea Nash, Rosen Publishing Group, 1995. This book uses research and personal interviews to discuss the issues faced by biracial teens. Coping techniques on such things as peer relationships, dating, racism, etc. Written for teens in their language. JH
