And he must have been right, since his line of footwear, agreeable to the taste and comfort of any woman, sky rocketed into 25 retail stores and 500 boutiques and department stores nationwide. Charles David makes cutting-edge styles you just won’t find anywhere else, like his Tweet shoe—not quite a wedge, not quite a platform, but both really. A leather heel so chunky that it almost connects to the front of the shoe, leaving the tinyest gap in between, connects to a fabric platform. Then the leather picks up again on the vamp of the shoe, with a thick, sandal like vamp, almost covered enough to be a closed shoe, but not quite.
