Thongs, or flip-flops as they are often called, are a shoe that features two straps that come together to bisect the big toe and the toe next to it. Although most commonly associated with rubber beach shoes, thongs have been updated in recent years to include more luxe materials such as high-quality leather; metallic hardware or other eye-catching embellishments; and even soaring wedge or stacked heels.
